Declaration of Identity:

A Declaration of Identity is usually required when land or property is sold or changes hands.

Our declarations are prepared by a qualified engineer and will certify that all the relevant services are contained within the site boundaries, examples being septic tank, gas/water mains etc.

The declaration will also state that the boundaries we noted on the ground match those shown on the relevant land registry compliant Folio map.

For us to do this we would have to make a site visit to inspect the land/property versus the map supplied to us and in turn we would issue the Declaration of Identity usually within 24-48 hours.

If you are selling land or your home it is generally advisable to have a Declaration of Identity already in place incase it is requested by the prospective buyers.
