Certificates of Compliance:

A Certificate of Compliance is needed when an alteration or extension has been made to an existing property. The Certificate of Compliance will confirm that the works comply with the relevant Building and Planning Regulations.

Many properties currently for sale in Ireland which have had previous alterations carried out do not have the correct Certificates of Compliance. It is essential if you are buying/selling/re-mortgaging a home that the correct Certificates are in place.

Examples  of situations where a Certificte of Compliance is required are:

>Attic conversions

>Sun rooms

>Rear/side extensions

>Any internal structural  change or alteration

Your solicitor or Bank/Lender may also request a Certificate of Compliance.

There are three main types of Certificate we provide, these are:

1: Certificate of Compliance with Planning Permission

2: Certificate of Compliance with the Building Regulations

3: Certificate of Compliance with Planning Permission and the Building Regulations
